Milestone: Taylor is 2 Weeks Old – Daddy Returns to Work

Baby T is already two weeks old and he has changed so much since he was born, Its amazing how fast they grow.

This week Phillip went back to work, I was a little nervous about my first day alone with T but it wasn’t bad at all. He is so laid back and relaxed most of the time, although I must admit It’s nice when Phillip comes home in the evening to have another adult to talk to. Taylor and I have some very one sided conversations during the day.

Pregnancy update: Week 39 – Almost there…

It’s the final week before our EDD and I can’t believe this tiny person has been growing inside of me for nine months! It has literally flown by and I’m more than ready to meet our little bundle, theirs a good chance we could go over by a week or two especially with this being my first. However, this has been such a simple text book pregnancy so far that I don’t mind waiting. I actually think I’m going to miss this jiggly little bump of mine.

Pregnancy Update: Week 30 – Being Stroked From the Inside!

This week Baby C is as big a Hawaiian pineapple and weighs as much as a cabbage. I’d say they aren’t as prickly as a pineapple but with the prods I’ve been getting who knows? My bump still doesn’t seem to have gotten much bigger but it has changed a little since last week.

Although I can’t see the difference in my bump I can certainly feel it. We’ve officially lost the ability to bend, I have now mastered squatting for everything. So glamorous!

Baskets, Cribs & Co-Sleepers – Where Will My Baby Sleep?

Where will my baby sleep?! – We recently took a trip to all of the local known brand baby stores to look at the products we’ve spent the last five months looking at in a misty haze online, specifically bedside sleeping for those first 6 months.

Pregnancy Update: From Test to 12 Weeks+

On the 28th April we took a test to find I was already 2-3 weeks pregnant and that’s when our three month secret began, we didn’t tell anyone. Not a soul. We wanted to wait until the 12 week scan to make sure things we’re going okay before we shared our news, from scare stories to close family members having had experiences with miscarriage I didn’t want to risk anything. Which of course means I spent three months being completely paranoid and worried constantly.

Pregnancy Announcement: I’m Going to Be a What?…

Those of you who know me or follow via social media will have more than likely heard the big news already – We’re having a baby! That’s right I’m going to be a MOTHER!

I think we managed to surprise everyone with our news as nobody knew we had planned to start our own little family, and yes it was planned. Oh my, you would be amazed by how many people have asked that question by now but we are so excited!
