Book Review: My Given Name – Personalised Children’s Book

We have been loving this great book all about how Taylor got his name, it’s really cute and to be honest a lot more interesting than the real story of how we spent nine months unable to agree on what to name our little bundle.

My Given name is a personalised children’s book with a difference, not only is it personal to your child but it’s filled with positive affirmations to show them just how special they are.

Book Event: A weekend at Owlpen Manor

Recently I received quiet possibly the most mysterious yet exciting invite ever from the lovely folks at Penguin. When I was told they had an ‘exciting’ invitation for me I thought nothing of it, until I started receiving messages to tell me the courier couldn’t deliver it. Courier? Usually event invites come in the form of a very well designed email, not a signed for next day parcel! What on earth was it?

Book Review: Little Lies by Liane Moriarty

I just love Liane Moriarty’s work and her novels always have me on edge, they’re full of suspense leaving you hanging every step of the way, Lianes writing is the most un-predictable and I’ve yet to encounter a novel written by her that is predictable. I’ve never been able to guess where the plot is leading and that to me is the making of a perfectly written novel.

Book Review: The Unfinished Symphony of You and Me

The day we’ve been waiting for finally came, Lucy Robinson shot up from her sick bed and bust out yet another show stopping novel, and you know what? Its bloody brilliant! The Unfinished Symphony of You and Me is another side splittingly wonderful novel from Lucy Robinson and I wouldn’t have expected anything less. A tale of both love and self discovery with a twist, as always Lucy’s humour is utterly flawless and bursting with belly-laughs throughout.
