This set includes nine mini stories featuring characters from Beatrix Potter’s classic tales, including Peter Rabbit, Benjamin Bunny, Squirrel Nutkin, Jemima Puddle-duck, Jeremy Fisher and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle.
Babies and young toddlers will enjoy the stories and pictures, and can play with the chunky little board books.
Featuring beautiful and classic artwork by Beatrix Potter, this set is a brilliant introduction to her stories about Peter Rabbit and his friends.
The Peter Rabbit big box of little books contains 9 mini board books that are perfect for tiny hands like mine, they’re lightweight and robust so they should withstand the test of time, especially once I master how to grab items and even more so when I’m able to throw.
The books are presented in a lovely box which enables us to keep all nine books together without losing any, we can also pop the box onto the bookshelf with my growing book collection.
They also come in this beautiful selection of bright colours making them pleasing to the eye, my favourite is orange!
Each book has a segment of a picture on the back cover which creates a scene of Peter Rabbit and his mummy. These books will keep me entertained for quite some time yet, my first jigsaw!
All of the books are filled with illustrations just as beautiful and traditional as this one.
As a tiny person my attention span isn’t the best so these short stories are perfect to keep us little ones engaged without getting grumpy. The stories are short but based around everyday activities such as getting dressed, playing with friends and having lunch. Which myself as well as other babies and toddlers will be able to familiarise with their own daily routines.
I’m still perfecting my reading skills so for now mummy reads all of my stories to me, which is nice because she does all of the funny voices!
This also means we get lots of time for extra cuddles in mums favourite reading chair!
Overall I really love my big box of little books, they’re easy to hold, beautifully illustrated, sturdy, and fun to read together. Once I’m bigger they’ll also be perfect short stories for learning to read by myself.
