Sampling the delights of Degustabox

Degustabox is a monthly food hamper subscription service filled with up to 14 products each month, many of which are completely new to the market. With a variety of items from sweet and savoury to soft drinks and alcoholic beverages it’s a real eclectic mix of products.

We’re going to be sampling the delights of Degustabox over the next three months and having recently taken delivery of our first box I’m already looking forward to seeing what the October box has in store for us!

Here’s what was included in this months box:

Degustabox_September_portle_bay_popcorn

Portlebay Popcorn – These went down a treat with In-Laws who are huge popcorn fans, I particularly enjoyed the Mocha flavour, although I’m not much of a coffee fan. The only comment we received was the bag could be bigger as it was so good!

Degustabox_September_sweets

Jelly Babies – I personally didn’t get a look in on this one, I wasn’t fast enough!

Wine Gums – We’re big fans of Wine Gums, this particular bag is made of everyone’s favourites, red & black. No digging through the bag for these firm favourites!

Reese’s – Do these require any explanation? I LOVE Reese’s peanut butter cups and ate all of them. I didn’t share any of these, Ooops.

Mallow and Marsh – I personally don’t like marshmallows but Phillip does and he really enjoyed these posh mallows!

Degustabox_September__GT_Green_Tea_Sweet_Sally_Ice

Sweet Sally Tea – I really like Ice tea, it’s not very popular in the UK so I loved trying this brand.

TG Green Tea – I wouldn’t normally drink Green Tea cold but these were really nice and I enjoyed trying something different for a change.

Degustabox_September_up__go

Up & Go – These are perfect for those days you’re in a hurry but don’t have time for breakfast. Like a milkshake that’s extra filling.

Degustabox_September_compete_energy

Compete – As I mentioned before, I’m not much of a coffee drinker but I do like mocha. These energy cubes are really tasty! They taste like a coffee chocolate treat and contain a caffeine boost that is equal to a shot of espresso. Perfect for mums on the go!

Degustabox_September_good_cider_of_san_sebastian

The Good Cider of San Sebastian – We love a good Cider and both enjoyed these, they’re really crisp and fresh. I was concerned they would be still ciders a bit like scrumpy but they are carbonated and delicious.

You can subscribe to receive your own boxes at https://www.degustabox.com for £12.99 including P&P which for the selection of products and quality I think it’s really good value. However, pop in the code BLDEG15 at the check out and receive a whopping £6 discount!

Overall I’m really pleased with our first box, it contained a selection of items we know and love alongside new products I might not have thought to try otherwise. I’m really looking forward to seeing what’s in our next box. It’s like Christmas and I love Christmas!
