A Peppa Pig electronic learning toys review!

It’s not surprising that Harriet has started to become fond of a popular little pig known as Peppa. Her brother went through a phase of loving Peppa, and it was only a matter of time before she did too.

I don’t mind though, Peppa pig is one of those shows with the odd “grown-up” joke. It’s entertaining for all and I actually quite enjoy it too!

You can imagine Harriet’s delight when a bundle of Peppa Pig learning toys arrived from Trends UK.

Harriet received the Peppa Pig Smart Tablet, Flip & Learn Phone and the Sing & Learn Microphone. This meant the TV could take a backseat in exchange for some good old fashioned role play.

Peppa Pig Smart Tablet from Trends

A firm favourite has to be the Flip & Learn Phone. A compact toy perfect for keeping in the changing bag. Providing endless entertainment with it’s lights and sounds. You can call various Peppa Pig characters to hear them answer, including Rebecca Rabbit, Suzy Sheep and Candy Cat! Play along with Peppa’s fun quiz and use the number keys to answer. You can even pretend to take photos with the camera button. Also features a light-up screen, fun sound effects and the Peppa theme tune. Or like Harriet, use your imagination and only ever call Daddy. The Flip & Learn phone requires 3 AAA batteries and retails at £10.99 from M&S

The Smart Tablet lets your child learn whilst having fun with Peppa Pig. Harriet loves feeling like she has her own tablet-like her brother but it doesn’t hold her attention for as long as the other toys. And, It’s very loud. The volume is adjustable but each time the button is pressed it goes back to full volume. Retailing at £17.99 from Amazon it’s a good toy that offers a fun way of learning. Particularly for those first colours, numbers, shapes, letters, characters and musical instruments.

Our final toy was the Sing and Learn microphone. With 2 modes of play to choose from: Quiz Time, when Peppa will test your child’s observation and listening skills. Sing-Along, where they can pick one of 7 songs from the show to sing along with Peppa. Or music only versions to sing over by themselves. Songs include; Recycling song, Bing bong song, Birdy woof woof, Big Balloon, Train song, Rainbow song and Wheels on the bus. Harriet LOVES the songs with this one, she’ll bob along and wave her arms dancing, who doesn’t love the Bing bong song? Retailing at £14.99 from Smyths this is the perfect gift for little ones that love to sing and dance.

This selection of educational toys from Trends has been a big hit in our house and I think most Peppa fans will love them too!
