Dancing is a favourite of Taylor’s at the moment. Like most toddlers he’s always on the move. All it takes is a simple beat and his little feet start moving. Something as little as a TV ad can have him jumping from a deep sleep into dance mode within seconds. The Bright Beats Learnin’ Lights Dance Mat has been a huge hit for encouraging this. Granted he’s not been staying on the mat but he’s still having fun with it.
Suitable from 6-36 months the Bright Beats Learnin’ Lights Dance Mat encourages movement and learning. From brightly coloured lights, upbeat songs and educational activities it’s a hit in our house. It’s had us all doing the #BeatboBoogie
This time last year Taylor was boogying away with Dance and Move BeatBo who he still loves today. Upon seeing the dance mat he recognised his favourite dancing Robot immediately, along with similar songs and games too.
The dance mat has two settings for play. One for younger babies who can play whilst sitting on the mat, and one for older children to interact with. The central base houses motion sensors and knows where Taylor is standing. If it tells him to go to ‘blue’ it knows whether of not he has followed the instruction. He is then rewarded with a song, which leads to a dance and a giggle from Taylor. A toy that can encourage learning colours, numbers and letters whilst keeping little ones active is perfect at this age. The mat is also adorned with shapes, letters and numbers for another source of learning fun.
Clapping, jumping, twisting, turning, Beatbo is a great way to get little ones moving. We particularly love beatbo for his abilities to keep toddlers occupied and tire them out. Thanks Beatbo!
