It’s been a week filled with afternoon tea in our house ever since we received Belles Musical Tea Party Cart. A cute Disney inspired tea cart fit for any high-tea engagement and perfect for this christmas!
The cart comes in 4 pieces, it’s quick and easy to put together but does take some force. I was hesitant when applying so much force as I felt it seemed a little weak and I didn’t want to break it. This may just be me being over cautious. It was fine and all clipped together without any breakage. Taylor has since ragged it around the house and it’s survived his brute force too.
I’m all about letting Taylor express himself in any way he wants and I’m certainly not about telling toddlers that certain toys are for girls or boys only. Not in this house. He LOVES serving tea.
We still have pictures of my older brother playing with my sisters dolls and ironing. Giving Taylor the tea cart to play with has opened a whole new world of roleplay for him and he’s enjoyed it immensely.
The tea cart comes with a teapot and two cups, complete with chip in. If you’re a fan of Beauty and the Beast you’ll know Chip the teacup as one of the characters alongside his friends. They’re an adorable little set. I’ve found the Teapot and cups are of high quality more so than the cart and they’re very accurate in look and feel to those of the original Disney film.
With a RRP of £59.99 I think it is pricey and would expect more in terms of accessories. Maybe the full tea set? Having said that Taylor has still played with it non-stop and you really can’t put a price on that smile. It’s also been on numerous offers throughout UK stores so bare that in mind!
To his delight, and only his, the tea cart also plays a tune ‘be our guest’ as featured in the Disney classic. Whilst singing the centre of the cart rotates in circles to animate making the teapot and cups spin. It may not seem like much to an adult and the song, I’ve heard it enough to last me a lifetime but to Taylor, it’s magical. Which is what’s expected when it comes to the world of Disney.
Overall Belles Tea Cart is the perfect gift for little ones whether they love Disney princesses or simply serving up a lovely cuppa like Taylor.
