Review: Special Features of the Silver Cross Surf 2 in Special Edition Eton Grey

By Lisa Collette

So many of our readers loved seeing the Silver Cross Surf2 in the Special Edition Best of British Eton Grey so I thought we would do a run down on what makes this particular edition so ‘Special’ what can you expect to find on the Special Edition that you won’t get with the standard Surf 2?

To start with you’ll have the special edition Gloss Black magnesium alloy chassis, unlike the standard brushed silver magnesium alloy chassis. Instead of having the name Surf printed onto the chassis you’ll be sporting ‘Special Edition’ to show everyone that this model is a step above the rest. silver_Cross_special_edition_features_02
You’ll find the insides of the hood feature a stunning quilted finish, the seat unit also comes with this luxury faux fur liner making it both stylish and comfortable for your little one. Taylor loves stroking the liner.

Both chest pads and the hood feature the Best of British trim, a very subtle yet super stylish finishing touch in the colours of the Union Jack. I love subtle touches like this, it really adds to the detailing and looks gorgeous.

silver_Cross_special_edition_features_07The entire colour pack features the beautiful Eton Grey fabrics that are not sold separately, so if you’re lusting after this beautiful set you’re going to want the whole package, you can see my previous post about the pram itself in my Silver Cross Surf 2 Eton Grey review to see what you can expect from this particular model of the Special Edition Silver Cross.

Keep a look out for our thoughts on using the seat unit of the pram now that Taylor has moved on from the carrycot, he’s growing up way too fast!
