Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year!
I love almost everything about the festive season.
All but one.
The shopping!
The stresses of choosing items for everyone in the family. Trying to stick to budgets while hoping you’ve found something they’ll love… Who needs that kind of pressure and stress at the happiest time of year? None of us. We need to be curled up on the sofa. Watching Jude Law as Mr Napkin head, with a mulled wine. That’s what we should be doing.
Of course, I do enjoy the festive atmosphere. Roaming the beautifully decorated shops with hot chocolate and festive songs playing everywhere I go.
Taking the current cost of living into consideration I, like many, will be budgeting this festive period. We can still give gifts that people will love without breaking the bank. It’s the thought that counts, no matter how big or small.
