Gifts for girls aged 2-5+

With each passing year, I find shopping for gifts gets harder, especially for my son. This year however I found it hard not to over-buy for my daughter. She turns 3 days before Christmas and I could have bought SO many things for her!

Here are some of my favourite items to give you ideas fir birthdays and special occasions. Some of the items marked with an * have been gifted to us to feature whereas any other items are amongst favourites I’ve purchased for my children.

Fingers crossed you’ll find something your little ones will love!

6. Rubens Barn Tummies £45

Harriets most loved possession in the entire world is “baby” her Ruben Barn doll. We’ve had other dolls over the last 2 years and none have been shown any love. Dinkum dolls, plastic dolls, all of the dolls. Nothing. Only Rubens Barn ones. I can’t blame her, they’re gorgouse. This year they released Tummies, a range of cute friends with a wheat bag inside you can either heat or freeze. I can’t wait for her to meet her new friend on Christmas!

6. Olli Ella Holdie Folk and Seagrass Basket

Although H never took to the Dinkum doll last year she did become fond of a little Holdie Folk that came with our parcel. Usually £14.95 each these little guys were in sale for around £7 each and she loves playing with them in her dolly house. I also picked up the Nyla Seagrass basket on offer for her Baby to sleep in. It also works as a great backdrop for flatlays as you can see

6. *Sand Sational from Addo Play

A firm favorite here is this magical sand that never dries out and provides hours of play. A great one for rainy days. Available on Amazon.

8. *Stocking fillers from Zimpli Kids

If you’re yet to experience the joy of Gelli Baff and it’s friends Slime baff, Crackle Baff or the cute playsets you’ll be both amazed and slightly horrified all at once

The first time we tried one I was wary but the children loved it, it’s non-toxic, it’s safe and the bath did not get clogged up. It really is magic!

Crayola Mess Free Colouring

Anything that claims to be mess-free and fun is coming home with me! We’ve had these before and both children love them. A perfect stocking filler for those rainy days or when you just want 5 minutes of quiet.

Addo Play Pitter Patter Pets

This cute little dog from Addo Play can walk, woof and wag its tail.
A fun addition for anyone who doesn’t want to commit to a real pet.

Disney Animator mini dolls

I’ve had my eye on these dolls ever since I saw them on Harriet Sheersmiths insta, they’re the cutest. But they no longer sold these sets. This Christmas the sets were back and I managed to catch them during an offer bagging them for £56 rather than £90! I hope the little lady with have hours of fun these and they’re a great size to pop in a bag for taking out and about.

Aqua Beads

The perfect activity to keep little hands busy, this is a shared gift for both of my children, I can see them having plenty of fun with these making creations to share with friends and family.
