We’re so excited to have been asked to be Ambassadors for this years Geronimo Festival. As parents of a 1 year old the likelihood of us reliving our muddy weekends as Sonisphere, Leeds fest and numerous other muddy music festivals any time soon are slim. Instead we’ll be looking for fun family orientated activities to do this summer with our baby, who is currently on the fat track to becoming a toddler!
We’re not going on a summer holiday this year as we’re saving to buy a house. We’ll be making the most all the things we can do close to home instead.
Geronimo is a family festival aimed solely at children, if your little tiddlers love Cbeebies then you won’t want to miss out on this weekend of fun. Just Fletcher, THE JUSTIN FLETCHER, Mr Tumble will be there! When this was announced I got excited for Taylor. He may only be 1 but disturb him when ‘Something Special’ is on and you’re in big trouble. Another of our favourites, Mr Bloom, will also be there. You can already see why this is going to be an amazing weekend for both tiddlers and parents.
Taking place over the weekends of 1 – 2 May (Harewood House) and 29 – 30 May (Tatton Park), Geronimo is back, bigger and better with a huge programme of events lined up for both venues.
Set against the wonderful woodland backdrops of two of England’s premier visitor attractions, Geronimo will yet again be delivering an exciting array of acts, amazing experiences and wonderful adventures, including lots of new attractions – all resulting in a fantastic family day out.
The biggest star on British children’s TV will be performing for one day only at each festival on Sunday 29th May at Tatton Park and 1st May at Harewood House.
Known for his starring role in CBeebies shows Something Special, Justin’s House and Gigglebiz, Justin Fletcher will be performing his signature act on the festival’s main stage.
With more acts and activities still to be announced, Geronimo is a fantastic day out for the whole family, promising an exciting programme of acts, amazing experiences and wonderful adventures.
Festival owner, Simon Goldman, comments: “We’re delighted to announce Justin Fletcher at Geronimo, he is such a huge name in the world of children’s television and a fantastic addition to the Geronimo main stage.
“The 2016 line up is already jam packed with big names, alongside stacks of new activities for children and parents, including a brand new theatre and literary zone, traditional county fair and live music to name a few. It really is a children’s festival like no other.”
We can’t wait to attend the festival, we’re hoping for some nice weather and family fun! See you there?
Tickets are priced at £25.00pp from 1st Feb.
