Find the perfect birthday gift with Orchard Toys!

Choosing gifts for Children’s birthdays is difficult at the best of times, not to mention whilst in lockdown. A favourite go-to of ours are games from Orchard Toys.

My children have a nice selection of these and we love gifting our favourites to their friends in the hope that their family will enjoy it just as much as we do. I can’t count how many times we’ve gifted The Rocket Game and Shopping List game to their friends.

I like to think they’re a gift that would always be well received, nobody likes the abundance of random plastic tat you can often accumulate when it’s your Childs birthday, not to be ungrateful, it’s wonderful when people have thought of your child, but I’d like to think whatever we gift it’s something that will be used and appreciated, not tossed into a charity bag a few weeks down the line.

I love that they’re fun and educational, it’s been a great way to get some sneaky learning in when homeschool hasn’t been working.

Orchard Toys are all made in Britain and that they are all teacher-tested which means you know they are good quality and perfect for helping with your child’s education.

With many children celebrating their birthdays in lockdown, Orchard Toys have created a fantastic new online resource where you can make your own birthday card activity sheet. So even if you can’t see your friends, you can give them an amazing birthday card!

All you need to do is download, print, cut around the dotted lines and then colour in and send to your person of choice. A great way to cheer up a friend who you haven’t seen for a while due to lockdown!

We’ve posted a few of these friends ourselves and as only a few children have returned to school we’ll have plenty more to do in the coming weeks too. A great activity to keep the children entertained and their friends have loved receiving them too!

You can print out your own cards to send to friends at www.orchardtoys.com/birthdaycards

And don’t forget if you choose to buy an Orchard Toys game as a gift, sneak one in the basket for yourself! They’re super fun. Our Curren favourite is Rainbow Unicorns, both my 5-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl have played this one repeatedly.
