Like most I absolutely love summer. Those long days, warmer weather and strolling in the sun with the little one.
What I don’t like is when it’s too hot for them and they’re grouchy, I can’t say I blame them though. Many pushchairs have dark fabric and in the heat can become hot and sticky. I can’t imagine being strapped into a hot seat on a summer day, can you?
Thankfully Stokke has a kit for every occasion. Until recently we’ve been using the Stokke winter kit, but it’s time for a change! The sun is here and so is the Stokke Summer kit!
Another great accessory that can be used on both the Xplory and Trailz. It’s been a welcome addition to our stroller over the warmer weeks.
We took the Trailz out on a summer stroll to feed the ducks. Who were too shy to come up the bank and actually let us see them. That didn’t stop Little Fox from seeing them though as the Trailz has such a high seat position he’s able to see a lot more than he would in any other stroller.
Featuring a terry cloth seat cover to keep him cool, mesh openings for ventilation, a larger canopy and a gorgeous floral animal print. The summer kit totally transforms the stroller and gives it a real summer vibe. This meant Little Fox was cool as a cucumber on our outing instead of a hot mess!
The fabrics to the kit are a UPF 50+ material for sun protection. Something I never knew existed for strollers. This has given me peace of mind when taking him out in the sun knowing he is protected. Their is also a clip on canopy that covers the seat from the foot plate to the hood, perfect for summer time naps. Especially for newborns with the seat reclined.
Overall I really like the Stokke Summer Kit. It’s stylish and boasts safety features that serve a real purpose when taking little ones with delicate skin out into the sun. A great way to adjust your Stokke stroller to suit the climate, as always Stokke know how to take care of the most important people in our lives.
