The Making of Harry Potter

What can only be described as the most magical place on earth, and it isn’t Disney World! On Friday the 13th December I went to what can only be described as the most magical place on earth, and it wasn’t Disney World!

Every year I count down the weeks leading up to christmas and mark of every sunday in my pottercalendar 8 weeks prior as ‘HP’, all in preparation of pulling out the Harry Potter Wizards Collection and losing myself in the magical tale that I grew up loving. I may be 24 but the child in me is still lost in these stories.

Book News: Chalky and the New Sports Car

If you know me then you’ll know that I love cats, I am a crazy cat lady. When I was approached to speak about an illustrated children’s book about a cat I couldn’t say no.

Belfast based company Little Thunder Co are looking for your help, in making their book series about an inquisitive cat come to life. The series of books follows the adventures of young Chalky, a stray cat discovered by one of the creators behind the story. The project is currently on Kickstarter and needs £10,000 for Chalky to happen and for each pound that you donate, you shall receive a little treat for your kind support.

Book Review: A Cinderella Christmas by Holly Kingston

I just wish it had been longer as it left me wanting more. I think I might have a slight book hangover from this one…
