Tales of Teething: Taylor Cuts a Tooth!

This week saw Taylor cut his first tooth, after months of dribble and flushed cheeks his left central incisor has completely cut through the gum! I’ve tried on numerous occasions to get a picture of it coming through but it’s really not happening, every time I try he chews or sucks my hand instead.

Our Week in Pictures : #3

This week we attended our first Baby Sensory class, Tails absolutely loved it. It was like a challenge to see how many rattles, bells and balls he could try to eat within an hour. I’m still getting the hang off the songs but it really was a sensory delight for the little man. He slept so well on the way home!

Baby Style: What Taylor Wore #4

This weeks outfit is another mini club favourite, I can’t resist picking up a cheeky little outfit every time we pop into boots for something, and anyone with a baby will know you can find yourself popping into boots quite often!

Baby Style: What Taylor Wore #3

Taylor has grown so much recently that I’m beginning to think he’ll have outgrown many of his 0-3 month outfits before we get the chance to share them! Here are two of our favourite outfits from this week. This outfit came as a complete set retailing at approximately £12 from mini club in Boots, however if you catch the sales you may grab a bargain as I snapped this up for £4! It’s one of my favourite outfits he has and it was so cheap, mini club is great value and has some of my favourite baby fashion pieces.

Book Review: Orla Kiely baby journal

Before Taylor was born I knew I wanted to document as much as I could, as the youngest of three my parents didn’t have any baby books or albums of myself. It’s common for the first born to have these as you have more time to do them. Wanting something nice we can look back on in years to come but knowing I wouldn’t have enough time to create my own I went on the hunt for the perfect baby book, I trawled the internet and book stores for months and eventually I found it, the Orla Kiely Baby Journal!

Book Review: When We Were Friends by Tina Seskis

When we were friends is a novel that is both gripping and full of suspense, this is Tina Seskis’ second novel since her debut One Step Beyond, which having read When We Were Friends has now made its way onto my TBR pile. This woman can write!

Flitting from past to present When We Were Friends follows six friends who met 25 years ago at university in Bristol. Sissy, Renee, Natasha, Juliette, Camilla and Siobhan have a traditional annual get together although 25 years on they’re most certainly not the friends they were in their student days.
