My goodness, it’s been quiet around here. But rightly so. On December 21st at 4:47pm, three weeks early, we welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world. – Harriet Willow Clarence – Weighing 5lb 5oz. Delivered via cesarean section, the most surreal experience of my life, which I’ll write about in more detail and try to do it justice.
I could have jumped straight onto the blog to share our news and write her birth story, but I’ll be honest. It’s been nice to just enjoy being with my family and taking a step back!
We’ve had three weeks of drinking her in, taking it easy and adjusting to life as a family of four. There have been tears, tantrums, lack of sleep, feelings of guilt. An all-around emotional rollercoaster but more than anything a whole lot of love.
And just like that, we became a family of four! 💕
