The Fisher-Price® Take-Along Swing and Seat has fast become one of both mine and Taylor’s favourite products. Before T was born I purchased a bouncer to sit him in if I needed to put him down during the day, I hadn’t considered the option of a swing and the added bonus of this one in particular is that it can also be used as a static seat.
Once out of the box I was faced with a small bundle of pieces to put together, the build also requires the use of a screwdriver, however it’s super easy to build.
The man walked in from work to find me mid-build to which I told him I was playing the role of Daddy. Like I said it was super easy!
Once built and 4 C size batteries had been inserted the swing was ready to go, with 6 speed options, 10 different tunes and sounds, hanging animal toys and a vibration option it’s near impossible for baby T lose interest.
The bottom of the seat has this handy clip in strap which turns it into the static baby seat, I use this option once he has fallen asleep and no longer needs to swing.
The controls can be found on the right hand side of the swing and allow you to change the speed of the swing, the volume of the 10 sounds, which sound plays (fun play time sounds or soothing sleepy sounds!) and also a vibrate button which can be used when in seat mode.
